India-based enterprise solutions vendor Magnaquest’s Latin American clients are unanimous in preferring its cloud/hosted option for billing and CRM solutions, marketing director Satish Garikipati told BNamericas.
Magnaquest now has 10 Latin American clients for billing and subscription solutions, which were recently re-branded under a business line called SURE! These clients are all in the pay TV or broadband space, and although Magnaquest sees potential for attracting more clients of this kind, it also expects to secure clients from the utility and cloud services segments with these products.
Within the cloud space Magnaquest expects the SURE! line to prove attractive to IaaS and M2M providers, as well as spectrum wholesalers. The product is also suited for OTT service providers covering the full variety of media, with audio and gaming as well as video.
There is not quite as much awareness of these kinds of solutions in the utilities segment as in the telecoms segment, but Magnaquest will be present at conferences and is preparing campaigns to reach these clients, Garikipati said. The firm has been profitable for the last 10 years and has continuously been reinvesting in its products and related services. Where the growth opportunity outpaces company resources Magnaquest will consider external investment.
Magnaquest serves two other enterprise software business lines, identity management (I-Am brand) and customer engagement/marketing solutions (OptCulture brand).
